I hold an ICF accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching. I am a member of the Association for Coaching. I trained as an NLP practitioner and have undertaken THINKING ENVIRONMENT® training. My business leadership qualifications include an MBA and a DBA. I was admitted as a Chartered Director in 2011. 

I have been a leader in different kinds of organisations for over 30 years. I am a pioneer in the field of diversity and inclusion. I began my career in 1980, before the days of disability equality legislation. I have personal experience, as a woman who uses a wheelchair, of the barriers to genuine inclusion in organisations. I derailed from two careers as a result of discrimination, and I spent many years applying for non-executive roles before I was finally successful. So I understand the frustration that people who are different experience in the workplace, and how challenges in life and work intertwine to stifle creativity and growth.
